pfs8803 FORGOTTEN PHOTOGRAPHS: “Charade”

Forgotten photographs - Charade

I found this photo at ‘Chor Bazaar’ (thief market – a shopper’s paradise) in Bombay when I was searching for vintage Indian photographs. I think it was made during a typical charade party, which must have been British and probably pre WWII.

PLACES as SYMBOLS

Robert Schilder

“Some of his works possess a sensitivity that ideally translates intangible thoughts and feelings into tangible forms and expressions. Endowed with an imaginative power, Schilder succeeds in making the metaphysical a reality.”
